Workers should reap fruits of labour.

Recently, workers who are members of Germany's IG Metall, Europe's largest industrial union, won a 28-hour working week and a sizeable wage increase.

Now look at mining firms in Africa, where the profits have risen by over $1bn which will be divided among shareholders, instead of, as in Germany, going to the workers. Africans who toil in the mines see the surplus wealth that they produce going not to them but to shareholders. It's time to re-think how benefits are allocated.
