CIMA volunteers aid charities to global success.

Ten CIMA members with CIMA, s designated charity, Management Accounting for Non-Governmental Organisations (Mango), contributed to improving the financial management of charities worldwide last year. The volunteers were placed in organisations as far afield as South Africa and Afghanistan. They made up a quarter of all accountants placed by Mango in 2003.

Two of Mango's training team are also CIMA members. "CIMA is penetrating the very heart of Mango," Jo Peel, the charity's fundraising administrator, told Financial Management.
