Glamour and business made the perfect mix at IC Publications' glittering inaugural CBC-African Business Awards 2008, held at London's prestigious Grosvenor House Hotel on 3 July.


Organised in conjunction with the Commonwealth Business Council (CBC), the Awards highlight the rapidly transforming business landscape in Africa and celebrate the great strides that the continent has made in the world of commerce. They also present a great opportunity to give global visibility to African brands.

The recipients, in 16 different categories, were rewarded for entrepreneurial excellence and world-class best practices in business.

Nearly 500 government, business and media movers and shakers from Africa, Europe, Asia and the USA attended the event.
