CIMA has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA), the sole professional accountancy body in mainland China. This means that the institutes will co-operate on training and professional development activities and will explore the possible mutual recognition of credentials and exemptions. The alliance aims to support China's efforts to align accounting practices with the needs of business and best international practice.
