Security worries keep firms wary of entering cloud.

The use of cloud computing can deliver cost savings and help businesses to make decisions, but security remains a key concern, a new CIMA-sponsored study has found.

"The effects of cloud technology on management accounting and decision making", the research report by Witten/Herdecke, Greenwich and Dublin City universities, states that management accountants can play an important role in this area, not only by assessing the costs and benefits of cloud technology, but also by "drawing on their information systems skills to provide managers with clear information".
