CIMA Biz.Net, an exciting new initiative from the institute is being launched this month. Designed to build on the success of events held by local branches and to complement existing locally generated events, it will provide a range of information for savvy management accountants and other professionals keen to access convenient continuing professional development (CPD) and to explore diverse avenues for developing their careers.

Building on past achievements, CIMA Biz.Net aims to embrace an integrated approach to running local events. High-calibre presenters are providing valuable material for members, students and guests. Career development seminars discuss topics such as mentors and coaches, emotional intelligence and leadership skills. There are secrets of success business breakfasts and lunches and, for the more technically minded, the technical open forums cover a range of issues from fraud to internal audit to ABM exchange. In addition, there are student revision seminars, hot topic forums, new member celebrations and a variety of other events. CIMA Biz.Net's goal is to offer something for everyone.
