American comedian Kevin Hart has bought a hyperrealistic portrait of himself by an unknown Nigerian artist.

Eli Waduba Yusuf, the artist based in Nigeria's north central Kaduna State, tweeted photos of the work and asked for retweets until Hart was made aware.

His plan was successful and Hart contacted Yusuf to buy the painting and even commission three more.

"I also want to support you and your amazing talent by giving you a fee to do a pencil drawing of three of my celebrity friends that I can gift it to. DM your info and let's get to work!" he said.
