Our country, Kenya, is fast witnessing some aspects of both economic and political dissonance. It started with the now famous handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his arch-rival, political giant Raila Odinga.
This has thrown the country's opposition politics in shambles. Mr Odinga has moved from active opposition to literally joining the Jubilee Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Many here believe that without Raila, there is not real opposition politics. It means that many who share much of the opposition's policies, will need to go back to the drawing board and work on political reorganisation.
People are wondering if Raila will participate in the 2022 general elections or whether he will decide to align himself with apolitical faction different from that of the Vice-President, William Ruto, who is being lined up to succeed...
