In September 2007, the Crerar Review issued its Report on Regulation, Audit, Inspection and Complaints Handling of Public Services in Scotland. Following on from this, the Scottish Government announced in November 2008 that there will be changes to inspection and scrutiny regimes for public services, including those for children.
