Holidaymakers flock to Kenya despite election concerns.


According to Kenya's Tourism Federation, the August elections had no effect on the number of tourists visiting the country for that month.

Tourism is an important driver of GDP in Kenya and the East African nation is well known for its Indian Ocean beaches, safaris and natural parks, attracting over lm visitors each year.

According to the figures, Kenya has experienced an increase in arrivals and revenue since last year.
