CIMA's Sri Lanka Division has set up a relief fund for the victims of the tsunami.

The division's president, Claude Perera, said CIMA's contribution to the relief effort would focus on the rebuilding of schools in those areas of the country most seriously affected by the disaster. He recently met Tara de Mel, director of the Centre for National Operations to discuss how CIMA could contribute.

"We are seeking the help of CIMA members and supporters worldwide to provide the funds to resource this crucial project," Perera told FM. "The division invites everyone to assist in rebuilding Sri Lanka by creating a tomorrow for the children in the affected areas."
