From the mailbag: time for progress in South Africa.

With reference to an article in the April 2011 issue - "Africa's Skills Revolution" - the message I got is that South Africa is still severely hamstrung by black ideology and hung up on blame.

Business initiatives like Setas are great, but while BEE (black economic empowerment) still exists there is little hope of progress.

Businesses flourish by moving forward using all available resources and eliminating discrimination. The ANC has not learned this lesson.
