Cup Trust Appeal Fails


Mountstar had appealed to the High Court over the Commission's decision to open a statutory inquiry into the Cup Trust and to appoint an interim manger of the charity but the tribunal ruled that there was an overwhelming public interest in the Commission's inquiry. The Tribunal was also critical of Mountstar's provision of misleading information to the Commission.
