South Africa's Minister of Trade and Industry, Rob Davies, has pledged assistance to neighbouring countries in order to develop transport corridors. Announcing this plan in Cape Town, Davies says the move will stimulate regional integration and build a larger Southern Africa marketplace. Davies envisages rolling out the North-South Corridor, to connect central Africa to the port of Durban, via Zambia.
