Financial directors in the UK feel there is a huge gap between the value they are getting from their software and the potential it has in driving business success.

In the tough economic climate, where firms are looking for value for money and effectiveness from their systems, research carried out by the Business Software Alliance (BSA) revealed a surprising lack of confidence in software.

It found that only six per cent of FDs feel they are getting the best out of their software investments, even though nearly all FDs surveyed (98 per cent) agreed that software is important to the running of their business...
