Clyde & Co has been ranked as a top 20 firm in the Global Arbitration Review's annual GAR 100 guide to specialist arbitration firms in 2015. The introduction to the report released today states that it was conceived as 'a vehicle to identify at least 100 firms one can consider "approved" in this discipline'.
The report describes Clyde & Co as having disputes - particularly international ones - in its DNA and as possessing 'one of the largest dockets of commercial arbitration of any firm in the GAR 100'.
"A private equity client is quoted by the report as terming Clyde & Co 'streets ahead' of the other counsel appointed to its case by co-claimants and defendants. Another client recommended Ben Knowles, Global Head of Disputes Resolution and International Arbitration, "unreservedly" and described him as "both a very professional, and unusually, a very practical arbitration lawyer who knows his way around the system."
As part of its ongoing investment in its international arbitration practice, Clyde & Co is sponsoring the 18th Annual International Arbitration Day, co-hosted by the IBA and ICSID on 27 February 2015. The team also be attended the 5th Annual GAR Awards Ceremony on 25 February and will be attending the LCIA North American Users' Council Symposium on 28 February, as well as other arbitration events taking place during the week.
