Since its launch in 2012, Clyde & Co have been sole legal sponsor of the Financial Times Global Commodities Summit in Lausanne. The summit is regarded as the number one event for the global commodities sector and is attended by nearly 400 senior executives from across the commodities spectrum. This includes many of the leading individuals from the biggest trading houses and financial institutions such as Glencore, Cargill, Mercuria, Vitol, Gunvor and Noble Group.

This year the partners who attended the summit were Marko Kraljevic, Michael Swangard, Nick Austin, Philip Prowse and Clare Hatcher (from the London office) and Maurice Thompson (Melbourne, Perth).
