CIMA has joined forces with BPP Professional Education to subsidise courses for graduates entering the job market in the toughest economic environment for a decade. People who sign up at a BPP UK mainland centre for daytime CIMA courses at certificate and managerial level will get at least a 50 per cent discount.

The discounted price of 250 [pounds sterling] includes tuition, CIMA registration, subscription and one exam fee per subject. The offer is open to anyone not in full-time education who is working 20 hours a week or fewer.

Ten per cent of UK undergraduates are aiming to join the accountancy profession, according to a survey of 16,000 final-year university students by High Fliers Research, but 30 per cent fewer have secure job...
