Caption: The announcement of the winning entry to the "extreme accounting" competition, sponsored by CIMA and financial software provider Coda, generated a flurry of media interest worldwide. In the UK, the tongue-in-cheek website showing pictorial evidence of accountants' derring-do was featured in The Sunday Times, on several BBC radio stations and even in the Sun. Further afield, it received coverage in Australia, Canada, Ireland, South Africa. Spain and Switzerland.

The winner was Keet van Zyl (pictured, right), an accountant with private bank Invested in Cape Town, South Africa. He tom FM/ that he'd received a mixed reaction from onlookers during his stunt.
