(He was born in Iran in 1985. He received his primary and secondary education in Iran. He obtained his first degree, B.Sc. Civil Engineering from Islamic Azad University of Ghaemshahr, Iran in 2009. He obtained his Masters in Geotechnics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Malaysia in 2012. He is studying his Ph.D in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.)


Flyrock is a serious environmental hazard and is often a cause of fatalities, serious injury to people, and damage to equipment, building, and property. Estimation of blast safety area is an important item in any blasting operation. This book presents a method of investigation blast safety area before blasting operation in boulders and also compares result of empirical methods with real data of flyrock distance. This book is a useful source for undergraduate and postgraduate students in field of geotechnics, geological and mining and also is applicable for blast designer, since investigation of effective parameters in flyrock distance plays a great role in designing blasting patterns.
